Stage One of the Ford RideLondon Classique, a UCI Women’s WorldTour race featuring the world’s best female riders, takes place on Friday 26 May. It starts in King Street, Saffron Walden at 11:00 and finishes on the High Street, Colchester, between 14:30 and 15:00.

The route passes through the districts of Uttlesford, Braintree, Colchester and Tendring.

Limited road closures will be in place throughout the route on the day across the route with a longer period needed for a section in Colchester, the stage finish.

To ensure the safe and smooth running of the 2023 Ford RideLondon-Essex event, road closures will be necessary in Essex and London from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 May.
