Cyclists from Russia and Belarus excluded from the RideLondon Classique
Russian and Belarussian professional cyclists will not be accepted in any professional team competing in the RideLondon Classique, the three-day UCI WorldTour women’s professional race on 27-29 May, which is part of the RideLondon festival of cycling.
Entries from Russian or Belarussian nationals who live in either Russia or Belarus will not be accepted in any of the mass participation rides: the RideLondon 100, 60, 30 or FreeCycle.
Russian or Belarussian nationals who live outside Russia or Belarus will be allowed to take part in the mass participation RideLondon events (the RideLondon 100, 60, 30 or FreeCycle), although not under the flag of either country (and excluding sanctioned individuals, and their immediate family, who will not be accepted).
In addition, London Marathon Events, the organiser of RideLondon, will allocate entries in RideLondon to enable fundraising for Ukrainian relief work. Full details will be announced shortly.
